Organ Recital

After Thanksgiving, the entire fourth grade attended an organ recital.  Beforehand, Mr. Doug Leightenheimer came to Eaton to give us information about pipe organs.  We watched a short video about different parts of a pipe organ and Mr. Leightenheimer also brought examples of some pipes.  We learned that the smallest pipes make the highest sounds while the largest pipes make the lowest sounds.  After the recital, we got to hear the pipe organ up close and actually view how it works from the console to the pipe chambers!  It was a great learning experience for us all!
